Toshiba TG01 Smart Phone
This summer, Toshiba’s latest smart phone called the TG01 is going to be released worldwide.
This handheld will be 9.9mm thick and will feature the following:
- 4.1-inch WVGA (with 800 x 480 pixel) touchscreen display
- HSDPA data
- GPS, GSM, 3G
- WiFi
- a microSD slot
- a custom Toshiba 3D GUI
- Windows Mobile 6.1
- 3.2 megapixel camera
It will be powered by a 1GHz mobile CPU which will come with a 512 MB internal storage with support for DivX videos, which promises to “revolutionize” how we know and make use of mobile entertainment.
Compared against the iPhone and the Black Berry handhelds, this new mobile unit seems to hold its own and may very well give it a run for its money.
The price to the TG01 is still unknown but expect more news about it in the coming weeks.
