Slim Down With This Hello Kitty Slendertone

Published by Rachel under Misc Edit This

Hello Kitty Slendertone

It may look funny doing your exercises or trimming down your fat with a gear like this. It looks something fit for a thirteen year old, doesn’t it? With it’s pink trims and the Hello Kitty logo, one would mistake this one as a child’s toy. But then again, this would probably be okay to use if you don’t intend to hit the gym and just exercise at the comforts of your home, right?

This device is called the Slendertone.  And it is only released via Sanrio Japan.

If you’re into Sanrio stuff though, as I know several people are, I would understand why you’d want to have this one, simply for the joy of collecting Hello Kitty items.

Virtual Boyfriend (Or Girlfriend)

Published by Rachel under Gaming Edit This

Virtual Boyfriend TamagotchiSome things to avoid in life? The Tamagotchis! Because it’s so addicting! The main idea behind a Tamagotchi is in taking care of a virtual pet, instead of an actual living one. You feed it, you play with it, you tend to it, with just a click of a button. That’s all fine and dandy, until you get obsessed about it and it’s starts controlling you instead of the other way around.

Still, people get a certain thrill from it…so I can’t blame them and understand the addiction. Especially now, when there’s a million versions of this handheld device.

There’s even this….the Virtual Boyfriend! Within your reach are eight different guys to choose from, each with his distinct personality. Go on your first dates, shower your Tamagotchi boyfriend with compliments and gifts, try to keep a lasting virtual relationship with it. This sounds like a toy for losers or girls who can’t get the man they want. But there is a reason why this toy is such a hit in the UK. It gives women the illusion that we understand how men are and how they think! LOL.

The Virtual Boyfriend also comes with the Virtual Girlfriend for the guys. The game is adult oriented, be forewarned and don’t make the mistake of gifting this to young kids.

Available at Aria UK

Wii Pom Poms Bring It On!

Published by Rachel under Gaming Edit This

Wii Pom Poms I am not even sure how much useful this gadget is, but then again….cheerleading? The pom poms make it twice as fun to do, isn’t it? Which is probably what the idea behind this Wii Hip Street Cheer Pom Poms is about. That even if you’re just virtually doing your jeers and cheers through the Wii, you feel the total experience when you have the right props around.

The Wii Hip Street Cheer Pom Poms is an add on for the Wii console when one is playing cheer games such as Wee Cheer or All Star Cheer Squad.

I wasn’t even aware such games existed, but hey, you know this Wii thing nearly has every little virtual activity game out there, so I’m not even surprised.

It would be fun to see the husband playing with this one though.

Melissa Beth Laptop Bags

Melissa Beth Laptop Bag

I have a good old Crumpler bag for my laptop and I am fully satisfied with it. However, for variety, I think that this Melissa Beth laptop bag is a good option. I like it’s design, first and foremost. It fits the kind of lifestyle I have — nothing fancy schmancy since I don’t go to board meetings in my line of work.

This bag fits both a laptop on top of everyday essentials, so it’s mighty convenient to carry around. The design for the shoulders is supposedly made smaller for women’s narrow shoulders, which makes it all the more perfect.

The bag comes in four colors but I like the purple and blue the best.

This one is priced at $89.00. Not bad right?

Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FS7 Gets Colored

Published by Rachel under Cameras Edit This

I have been dying to get my hands on a Lumix point and shoot camera and even considered giving myself this one as a Christmas gift. But then my purchase didn’t push through yet. And maybe it’s a good thing as I will now have options when I do decide to buy it this year.

Recently, Panasonic announced they will be launching colored versions of the Lumix this spring. The digital camera will now also come in green, blue and hot pink and I am quite excited about it!

Lumix DMC-FS7!

I prefer this one over any other digital camera because of its powerful features. It has an intelligent image processor and a better resolution (at 10 megapixels). It also has an optic image stabilization, a face detection feature and Auto shooting mode access. Plus, I love the lens they have for this — a Leica, one of the better ones in photography.

Look for this gadget at stores in March, going between $160 to $200.

MSI Wind U100 Valentine Edition

MSI Wind U100 Valentine Edition

I am not quite sure why they made this one pink, instead of red, when it is curiously called the Valentine Edition from MSI.  This lappy top  is derived from the same Wind 100 line by the company (MSI), and is part of the minuscule laptops in the collection (those e-notebooks that are smaller than usual). And this one is a limited edition machine, with a few products manufactured.

It’s a perfect present to  give the female love of your life — a wife, a daugther, a sister or a best friend.

The laptop has the following condition

  •  a 6-cell battery
  • 160GB hard drive
  • 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor.

The price tag you asked? It costs about $429.

Binary Love Shirt

Published by Rachel under Fashion Edit This

Binary Love Shirt

Express your love this Valentine’s day in the most unusual, but the most applicable way in these times, with this Binary Love Shirts.

I don’t understand how Binary Codes read, really. But I think that for every series of one’s (1’s) we see, it has a perfect match in every series of zero’s that follows it. And well, that’s how couple-hood works… it must be a perfect match, right?

These love shirts come in both men and women sizes at ThinkGeek. Wear them together or give them as a gift to your loved ones, the binary….err…. declaration of love… is a fresh and cool way to say “I Love You Forever”, in my book.

Geeky sweet, huh?

Logitech Laptop Tray is Comfortable and Ergonomic

Logitech Laptop Tray

Now this is the laptop tray I would like to own? I’m currently using one that’s actually a foldable breakfast tray and I am getting pretty tired of it. The folding legs is wearing down, too I’d just as soon as destroy my lappie. So, I am in the market for a new one and this Logitech tray is what I like!

The design is not only stylish, it’s functional, like a comfortable posture, the laptop sits on top of it with the perfect angle, the right view, the most comfortable position when you sit on the bed and use it. Called the Comfort Lapdesk, this has a four layer heat shield, which prevents the laptop from getting too hot from too much use. The Lapdesk is covered in air mesh fabric, great for the laptop’s shiny surface as it won’t scratch it. It’s also very light to carry around.

This one is going for $39.99 at Amazon.Com
