Nintendo Launches the New DSi
The latest version of the Japanese handheld portable video game, Nintendo DS, has been launched in Japan this Saturday….and what perfect timing! It’s just in time for Christmas.
The Nintendo DSi boasts of new features, making it more than just a gaming tool. With the new version, the gadget can now play music and take photos.
The going price for this is about $192 or 18,900 yen. It is only available first in Japan. But according to Nintendo, the Nintendo DSi should be in the worldwide market by the Summer of 2009.
Worldwide sales of the previous DS model has apparently profited by 3% this year and the company is optimistic the DSi will also do well.
