This mushroom card reader is really cute!
This cute little mushroom (in photo) is quite a familiar face in Japan. It’s the mascot for its biggest cellphone company, the NTT Docomo. And this is Docomodake, an SD card reader and writer.
With card readers virtually common in working with technology today, you see every type of designs of this in the market. The designs range from simple and plain to quirky and interesting.
But Docomodake here doesn’t just work as a card reader, it’s also a cellphone strap which makes the reader easier to carry around.
It also looks really cute as a cellphone charm and I think that this is actually a great idea since I am not one of those people fond of those charm thingies. But I would change my mind instantly when I see that I can also use it for something else.
