The Hello Kitty Anti-Virus Software…really!
The Hello Kitty craze is growing leaps and bounds! The popular kitty face now has an anti-virus program, can you believe it?
While still only available in China, it won’t be long until the West catches on since the craze is a worldwide phenomenon. And I can’t really fathom how a cute childhood icon has evolved into so much more.
I mean, really — a Hello Kitty anti-virus?
So, how secure and helpful is it? As the texts are only in Chinese, it’s hard to say. This blogger though was able to install it and if only for the really cute images (check the blog), I’d say I want one of those, too!
From the description it looks to be a standard Anti Virus software with apparent emphasis on being really easy to use.
It appears to be using the Custodia backend according to the description which is the actually the first time I have heard of this company so it is an interesting attempt to differentiate.
