The Glass Keyboard
My $12 keyboard, something I’ve been using for the last six years, is on the brink of breaking down. I’m looking to replace and upgrade it. I don’t want a fancy keyboard, though, since that would be impractical.
However, that doesn’t stop me from ogling at this glass keyboard from designer Kong Fanwen.

The glass keyboard obviously doesn’t work like a traditional keyboard. Instead, it uses motion capture and follows the movement of the fingers. More than anything, it’s a grand display of how much technology can be adapted and converged in all kinds of material, proving technology is limitless.
If I had a sleek workstation and loads of cash to spend on a fragile computer add-on, this would have to be perfect.
It’s beautiful and precious looking but I do know it isn’t so perfect for everyday use and all I can do is just stare at it in awe.

That’s gorgeous. I wonder how long it would survive in my house? lol
