iPod in the shower
Who doesn’t love singing in the shower? The acoustics inside it allow for better vibration and echoing — everyone sounds better in the shower, right? Even if you just put music on and not necessarily sing it, the music seems to sound better, too.
Next to my own bedroom, the shower is like my own special space. I used to carry a cassette radio there as a teenager. Although, my shower singing days are long over as I’ve gotten busy with other things, I’m thinking that maybe it’s time I go back to the habit now?
And maybe I don’t have to pick a cassette radio anymore…when I can have this (pictured)! It’s the iHome Shower Station and Dock, ($69.95 at Brookstone) which houses an iPod and protects it while listening and singing along to music inside the shower. The battery operated dock is capable of playing in full stereo. And it can also accommodate other MP3 players. Isn’t that nice?
